Messes into Miracles
I am flawed. I often think, say or do something that reminds me how imperfect I am. When I make a mistake or error in judgment, the enemy uses this as an opportunity to get inside of my head and do his best to break me down. He will get into my head and try to convince me that my flaws define me and that I’m nothing more than my imperfections. It’s a perfect opportunity for him to prey on my insecurities, to fill me with guilt and to distance me from the truth.
The truth is, my Father in Heaven already knows I’m imperfect. He knew me before I was born and knew every breath, every thought, every word, every action that I would take until my very last here on Earth. He loves me and that love for me will never change regardless of my blunders.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;" Jeremiah 1:5
He allows me to stumble for many reasons. He wants me to grow and evolve. Just how He transforms the caterpillar into a butterfly, He is working in my life to create something beautiful and righteous in me. He uses my missteps to teach me and make me aware that I still have so much to learn and so many areas that still need my attention. It is also a way for Him to demonstrate His love, His faithfulness, His forgiveness, His grace and His mercy. Everything the Lord allows in our lives, has it's perfect purpose. Even the gaffes.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
The Lord promised to work everything out for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. When I create a mess, I have found that if I pray about it and lay it at His feet, He uses my messes to demonstrate a message or even better, a miracle. If I give it to Him, He has the power to make something beautiful out of my wreckage.
The Lord does His best work when I am in need or in my weaknesses because those are the times when I cry out to Him and open the door for His resolution. I have limited power and at times, have no power. His power is limitless as is His love for me.
Each time he said, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
Asking Him for His divine intervention and then having the faith and trust in His promise to work everything out for my good, allows for the unimaginable to occur in my life. Remembering that His ways are not my ways and that His timing is perfect, helps me to stay in peace while I wait for His guidance, His direction, and His answer.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
When I have the courage to let go and give it to God, He has always turned my messes into miracles in His way according to His timetable. The results are always perfect. This is true for all of His children.
With Love,
Stacey
