Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

With all of the chaos, hate, fear and distrust that is seemingly surrounding us in our communities, our nation and our world, the enemy easily infiltrates our minds and our hearts. He fills our minds with lies and we become fearful, distrusting and judgmental.

At least for me, I know the enemy tries to wear me down, making me believe that I am unsafe and should feel insecure and anxious and distrusting of others. He wants me to have my guard up and look through a lens of distrust and judgement which can be both isolating and lonely.

When I read the Bible and I allow the Lord to speak to me through His word, He always seems to have me focus on the messages of love, forgiveness, acceptance, generosity, righteousness and confidence in Him. He often reminds me that His ways are not our ways and encourages me not to conform to the ways of this world which tend to be hateful, unforgiving, judgmental, selfish and sinful. My greatest lesson thus far has been learning how to look at the world through the lenses of love.

I think the Lord speaks to us in different ways and He has a special purpose for each of us. In recent years, I’ve felt that the Lord has a greater purpose for my life. My walk with Him has intensified and my desire to spread His message has inspired great changes in me from the inside out.

I don’t know what lies ahead for me or where the Lord is taking me but I believe that I’ve already taken several steps on a new path when I took a step out in faith and started Renewed Spirit Home. There is a sense of peace when I am working on my pieces or sitting down to write and share. He’s teaching me, molding me and using me.

The enemy started planting seeds full of lies in my spirit and in my heart when I was a very little girl. I’ve spent my entire life up to this point believing I was unworthy, incapable and insignificant.

That’s not my truth.

The truth is, the Lord created me in His image. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. He has a purpose for my life. I am worthy, I am capable and I have significance. This is true for all of God's children.

In a world full of chaos, hate, fear and distrust, I know my purpose and my purpose is to share the gospel and spread God’s love. That’s the purpose for all of His children.

With Love,

Stacey

“ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23
